If I had to name the venue that best represents the Cabo wedding experience, Flora Farms would be at the top of my list.
I’ve had the privilege of planning numerous weddings at Flora over the years, and every celebration reminds me why it’s become one of the most sought-after wedding venues in Mexico.
It’s beautiful, yes—but that’s not what makes Flora special.
What makes Flora unforgettable is how it makes people feel.
Guests don’t arrive at a ballroom or a traditional resort. They walk through gardens, hear the sounds of nature, sip cocktails beneath mature trees, and enjoy one of the best dining experiences in Los Cabos. It feels intimate, relaxed, and incredibly thoughtful.
If you’re considering Flora Farms for your destination wedding, here’s everything I think you should know before making your decision.

Every venue has its own personality.
Flora’s personality is effortless.
It never feels overly formal or staged.
The property encourages guests to slow down, enjoy the surroundings, and truly experience the celebration rather than simply attending another wedding.
One of the comments I hear most often from guests is:
“This doesn’t feel like a wedding… it feels like the best dinner party we’ve ever been to.”
I think that’s exactly what Flora does best.

I always tell couples that Flora isn’t for everyone.
If you’ve dreamed your entire life of getting married with your feet in the sand and the ocean behind you, there are better venues in Cabo for that vision.
But if you’re drawn to lush gardens, incredible food, candlelit dinners, and an atmosphere that feels organic rather than manufactured, Flora is difficult to beat.
One of the biggest misconceptions is that Flora Farms is an inexpensive venue because it’s not located inside a luxury resort.
In reality, Flora is considered one of Cabo’s premier luxury wedding venues.
While every celebration is different, here’s what I typically tell couples.
Approximately $50,000–$70,000 USD
Approximately $75,000–$110,000 USD
Approximately $120,000+ USD
These figures vary depending on entertainment, floral design, rentals, photography, and the number of events throughout the wedding weekend.
My biggest piece of advice is to think about your overall guest experience, not just your wedding day. Transportation, welcome parties, farewell brunches, and accommodations often become just as important as the ceremony itself.

Without hesitation…
The dinner.
I’ve worked at many incredible venues throughout Los Cabos, but Flora consistently delivers one of the best culinary experiences available for weddings.
Dinner doesn’t feel like standard banquet food.
It feels like dining at one of Cabo’s finest restaurants.
As a planner, I love seeing guests genuinely excited about the meal because it’s something they continue talking about long after the weekend is over.

Ceremony & Reception Spaces
One of Flora’s greatest strengths is how naturally the wedding day flows.
Guests move through different spaces as the celebration progresses, creating the feeling of an unfolding experience rather than spending the entire evening in one location.
Cocktail hour blends seamlessly into dinner, and dinner naturally transitions into dancing.
That movement keeps the energy fresh throughout the evening.

One thing I’ve learned after planning several weddings at Flora is this:
You don’t need to fight the venue.
Flora already has incredible character.
Instead of covering everything with flowers or elaborate décor, I encourage couples to let the venue shine.
Some of my favorite designs have been the simplest.
Soft candlelight.
Natural linens.
Beautiful floral arrangements placed intentionally rather than everywhere.
When you embrace Flora’s organic beauty instead of trying to transform it, the end result feels timeless.

A few practical things are worth considering early in the planning process.
Because Flora isn’t a resort, transportation is essential.
Having a clear shuttle plan ensures guests arrive comfortably and safely while allowing everyone to fully enjoy the evening.
Although Cabo enjoys beautiful weather most of the year, it’s always important to have a weather contingency plan.
Fortunately, Flora has excellent options should they ever be needed.
One of the fun parts of planning a Flora wedding is helping guests choose accommodations that fit their travel style and budget.
Some couples prefer everyone together, while others enjoy giving guests several nearby hotel options.

If you’re considering Flora Farms, my biggest advice is this:
Don’t try to recreate someone else’s wedding.
I’ve planned celebrations there that were elegant and formal.
Others that felt like chic dinner parties.
Some focused on incredible floral installations, while others relied almost entirely on candlelight.
Every one of them felt beautiful because they reflected the couple—not Pinterest.
The venue already provides the magic.
Your wedding should simply build upon it.

If someone asked me where I’d host a wedding for couples who care most about creating an unforgettable experience for their guests, Flora Farms would always be near the top of my list.
Not because it’s trendy.
Not because it’s one of Cabo’s most photographed venues.
But because every element—from the gardens and service to the food and atmosphere—works together effortlessly.
Years after the wedding, guests may not remember every flower or every song.
They will remember how they felt.
And that’s what Flora does better than almost anywhere else in Cabo.

Most Flora Farms weddings range between $50,000 and $120,000+ USD, depending on guest count, design, and the overall wedding weekend experience.
No. Flora Farms is an event venue rather than an all-inclusive resort, giving couples greater flexibility to personalize their wedding.
Flora comfortably hosts intimate weddings as well as larger celebrations. The ideal layout depends on your guest count and event design, which is something I work through with every couple during the planning process.
The most desirable dates often book 12 to 18 months in advance, especially during Cabo’s peak wedding season between October and May.
