One misconception I hear often is that flowers or décor are the biggest expenses.

In reality, that’s rarely the case.

For most destination weddings, the largest portion of the budget usually goes toward your guests’ experience.

The Biggest Mistake Couples Make

One of the biggest mistakes I see isn’t overspending.

It’s starting with Pinterest before starting with a budget.

It’s easy to fall in love with a photo online, but those images rarely tell the whole story. A reception that looks beautifully simple may actually include custom flooring, extensive lighting, specialty rentals, premium florals, and a large production crew behind the scenes.

Instead of asking, “Can we recreate this photo?” I encourage couples to ask, “How do we create this feeling within our budget?”
