One of the very first questions couples ask me is: “What’s the best wedding venue in Cabo?”
My answer is always the same… There isn’t one.
After planning weddings throughout Los Cabos for years, I’ve learned that the “best” venue depends entirely on the kind of experience you want to create.
Some couples dream of exchanging vows overlooking the ocean with the famous Arch in the background. Others imagine a candlelit dinner under giant mango trees, while some want a luxurious resort where every guest can stay together for an entire wedding weekend.
Every venue has its own personality, and that’s what makes Cabo such an incredible destination for weddings.
Rather than ranking these venues from best to worst, I want to share what I’ve learned from actually planning weddings at these properties—what they do exceptionally well, what couples should know before booking, and who I think each venue is best suited for.

I probably visit Flora Farms more than any other venue in Cabo, and every time I walk through the property I’m reminded why so many couples fall in love with it.
Flora doesn’t feel like a hotel wedding.
It feels like you’ve invited your favorite people to an incredible dinner party hidden inside an organic farm.
Guests arrive surrounded by lush gardens, cocktails are enjoyed beneath towering trees, and dinner feels more like dining at one of Cabo’s best restaurants than attending a wedding.
That’s one of the things I love most about Flora. The food isn’t just another part of the wedding—it becomes part of the experience.
Since Flora isn’t a resort, transportation and accommodations require a little more planning. I actually see this as an advantage because it allows couples to curate an entire wedding weekend instead of having everyone simply stay in one hotel.
If food and atmosphere are your top priorities, Flora Farms is incredibly difficult to beat. It’s one of those venues where guests continue talking about the dinner long after the wedding is over. I will never stop talking about their farm julep!

One thing I always tell my couples about The Cape is that the ceremony view almost sells itself.
The moment guests sit down and see the Arch framed behind you, there’s usually an audible “wow.”
It’s one of the most iconic ceremony backdrops in Cabo.
As a planner, though, what I appreciate even more is how well the property functions for a destination wedding weekend.
Guests can stay on-site, walk between events, enjoy the pools and restaurants together, and never feel like they’re constantly getting on buses or coordinating transportation.
That convenience makes a huge difference throughout the weekend.
Best For
Things to Consider
The Cape’s contemporary architecture creates a naturally elegant setting, so couples often find they don’t need excessive décor to make the space feel beautiful.
Emm’s Take
If you appreciate modern mexican design The Cape is always one of my favorite recommendations. It photographs beautifully, the service is excellent, and the overall guest experience is hard to beat.

Acre isn’t for everyone—and I actually mean that as a compliment.
If you’ve always imagined getting married on the beach, this probably isn’t your venue.
But if your style leans toward modern architecture, lush tropical landscaping, and an atmosphere that feels intimate rather than traditional, Acre creates one of the most memorable wedding weekends in Cabo.
It feels less like a wedding venue and more like an incredibly stylish private estate.
Guests love exploring the property, and there’s a relaxed energy that makes everyone immediately feel comfortable.
Best For
Things to Consider
Acre already has so much natural character that I usually encourage couples to let the venue shine rather than over-designing it.
Emm’s Take
Every Acre wedding feels different, which is one of the reasons I enjoy designing there. The venue already provides so much personality that your design can focus on enhancing the space rather than transforming it. Each venue allows for a wow factor! You won’t see the reception setup from the ceremony, ever!

Esperanza has a very different feel from most luxury resorts in Cabo.
It’s refined without ever feeling formal.
From the moment guests arrive, the level of hospitality is noticeable, and that attention to detail continues throughout the entire wedding weekend.
The ceremony locations overlooking the ocean are stunning, and the restaurants consistently deliver some of my favorite dining experiences in Los Cabos.
It’s a property where luxury feels effortless.
Best For
Things to Consider
Esperanza tends to appeal to couples who want an elevated experience from beginning to end. Every touchpoint—from guest arrival to the farewell brunch—feels thoughtfully curated.
Emm’s Take
If your priority is guest experience, Esperanza is always near the top of my list. The level of service is consistently exceptional, and that’s something your guests will remember just as much as the wedding itself.
Nobu has become one of Cabo’s premier luxury wedding destinations, and it’s easy to understand why.
The architecture is clean and contemporary, the guest rooms are beautiful, and the resort delivers the polished level of service people expect from the Nobu brand.
It’s especially well suited for couples planning an entire wedding weekend, with multiple events taking place on property.

Emm’s Take
Nobu is an excellent choice for couples looking for a refined resort experience where guests can enjoy every part of the weekend without ever needing to leave the property.
Chileno Bay has one of the most beautiful swimmable beaches in Los Cabos, and the entire resort has a relaxed elegance that guests absolutely love.
It feels luxurious without ever feeling overly formal.
Families especially appreciate the resort because there are plenty of activities for everyone throughout the weekend.
Best For
Emm’s Take
If you’re envisioning a fun wedding weekend where guests spend as much time enjoying the resort as they do celebrating, Chileno Bay is a fantastic option.
Comal is by far one of my favorite breakfast spots ever!
Arriving at the Waldorf Astoria through its private tunnel immediately tells guests they’re somewhere special.
It’s one of the most exclusive properties in Cabo and offers an incredible level of privacy.
The service is impeccable, the accommodations are exceptional, and the overall atmosphere feels incredibly intimate.

Emm’s Take
If you’re dreaming of an elegant wedding where privacy and luxury are equally important, the Waldorf Astoria is one of the finest options in Los Cabos.
One of the biggest misconceptions is that couples should choose their venue first.
I actually encourage my clients to begin with three questions:
Once we answer those questions, the venue usually becomes much easier to narrow down.
I’ve had couples arrive in Cabo convinced they wanted one venue, only to completely change their minds after touring another property. Photos can only tell part of the story. Walking through the venue, imagining your guests there, and understanding how the spaces flow often makes the decision much clearer.
That’s one of the reasons I encourage site visits whenever possible.
The venue sets the tone for your entire wedding weekend.
It influences everything—from your design and timeline to your guest experience and overall budget.
The right venue isn’t necessarily the most expensive or the one you’ve seen most often on Instagram.
It’s the one that feels like the perfect setting for your story.
After planning weddings throughout Los Cabos, I still get excited walking into these venues because each one offers something completely different. My role is helping couples find the place that fits their vision—not trying to make their vision fit a venue.
If you’re just beginning your venue search and would like guidance from someone who’s planned weddings across Cabo’s top properties, I’d love to help you compare your options and find the venue that’s the perfect fit for your celebration.
What is the best wedding venue in Cabo?
There isn’t one “best” venue. It depends on your guest count, budget, design style, and the type of experience you want to create. That’s why I always recommend comparing venues based on your priorities rather than popularity.
How much do wedding venues in Cabo cost?
Most luxury weddings in Cabo range between $55,000 and $150,000+ USD, depending on the venue, guest count, and level of customization.
Should we visit Cabo before booking our venue?
Absolutely. While virtual tours are helpful, nothing compares to experiencing a venue in person. A site visit often answers questions you didn’t even know to ask.
How far in advance should we book?
For weddings between October and May, I recommend booking your venue 12 to 18 months in advance, especially if you’re considering one of Cabo’s most sought-after properties.
